Community Education
Communify aims to introduce people to and encourage participation in lifelong learning, by providing positive and relevant learning experiences which assist participants to develop new skills, knowledge, motivation and confidence. We offer a diverse range of structured educational and social activities to the community in a welcoming, informal and cooperative learning environment. Participants are given the opportunity to develop new skills, establish networks, gain support and gather information that will enhance their quality of life.
What do we offer?
A dynamic program drawing on the diversity of skills from within the local community provides varied and stimulating learning opportunities. A program of activities such as seminars, short courses, workshops and discussion groups is designed to provide knowledge and skills across a wide range of topics including health and fitness; art and creativity; and parenting and family support.
Who is eligible for this service?
The Community Education programs are available to anyone who has a lifelong passion for learning. There are generally no specific entry or age requirements for Communify courses. As a lifelong learner, Communify Community Education provides the opportunity to expand your skills and knowledge and gain a sense of personal achievement.
How much will it cost?
Courses run by Communify are designed to be affordable and accessible to all members of the community. Concessions and discounts are available to eligible people for many of the courses. Further details of course fees are available from our website.
